Optimed grew, like the proverbial field of wheat, from the ground up in Saskatchewan because our team has been working with physicians across the province with much success.

Even competing EMR vendors have shown confidence in us by paying the greatest compliment possible, merging their client base with ours.

In June of 2006, Optimed made an agreement with Peardon Consulting to acquire their MedSoft Practice Manager software client base of over 300 physician users in Saskatchewan.

Then in September of 2006, Optimed acquired iQmedX's medical billing, patient scheduling, and electronic medical records technologies, called Medicentre, which were being used by over 200 physicians.

Optimed will manage the ongoing technical support of these clients.

Both Peardon and iQmedX chose Optimed because of their commitment to providing their clientele with the most advanced EMR products and customer services possible.

With these acquisitions, we can now confidently say that Optimed is the leading EMR vendor in the land of the living skies.
