Optimed Achieves 'Approved EMR Vendor' Status in Manitoba

Since March 2009, candidate approved EMR vendors have been participating in a conformance testing process to ensure that all core requirements have been met by that vendor before receiving the approval status.

Optimed Software is proud to be the first, and so far only, vendor to reach Approved EMR Vendor Status with its flagship product Accuro EMR.

The process to identify approved vendors was driven by requests from family physicians and RHA-run clinics that recognized the advantages of a provincial vendor qualification process. The EMR will become a vital tool to connect physicians in the community electronically to the rest of the health system.
