"I am pleased to announce that Optimed has completed testing and received approval for its Accuro software as required under the stringent guidelines of the Vendor Conformance and Usability Requirements (VCUR) in the Province of Alberta", said Al Hildebrandt, President of Optimed Software Corporation.

Accuro™ will now be included on the official product list issued by the Physician Office System Program (POSP) in Alberta. This qualifying list identifies, for potential physician customers, all software systems designed for medical office use that meet the VCUR requirements. Physicians who qualify with POSP will receive financial assistance to purchase a physician office system such as Accuro™.

Accuro™ was specifically designed to improve the quality of physician's operational work environment while delivering administrative productivity gains through computer automation. Accuro™ delivers uniquely configured tools for billing, patient scheduling, medical office communication, clinical research data management, and electronic medical records (EMR).
