Vendor Conformance Usability Requirements (VCUR) Compliant
Accuro has been evaluated by the Physician Office System Program (POSP) in Alberta to ensure functionality, security, and privacy conformance. This certification is one of the most complete testing processes in the country, which Optimed is proud to have met. Albertan physicians who choose Accuro may receive subsidy from the Alberta Netcare for purchase of the software and hardware up to $742 per month per physician.
Alberta EHR S2S Compliant
Accuro is integrated with one of the countries only Electronic Health Records, the Alberta EHR. The EHR is composed of the Pharmaceutical Interface Network (PIN), Patient Directory, and Lab Test Results Delivery (LTRD). Accuro's interface to the EHR means that all of the patient demographics, medical histories, prescriptions, and lab results (stored by the province) are electronically downloaded into the system as patients are seen to help increase the comprehensiveness of the patient records.
HL7 Compliant
Health Level Seven is an American National Standards Institute, which produces standards for the transmission of clinical and administrative data. HL7 is used by many provinces, health regions, and organizations to import and export data relating to health records. Accuro uses HL7 interfaces to provide clinics with a system that can communicate with other systems around it. Examples of HL7 communication include: Chronic Disease Management BC Toolkit integration, Alberta EHR integration, and electronic lab results retrieval.
