Kelowna is the largest city in British Columbia's Okanagan Valley with all the amenities of a major centre including an international airport that is the tenth busiest in Canada. Kelowna is located approximately 400 kilometers from Vancouver, 600 kilometers from Calgary, and 150 kilometers north of the U.S. border.
The Okanagan Valley offers a comfortable climate year round with life revolving around 110 km long Okanagan Lake. In the warmer months, enjoy miles of beautiful parkland and sandy beaches which provide wonderful opportunities for hiking, biking, boating, swimming, water-skiing, windsurfing and fishing. Or tour one of the over sixty wineries located in the Okanagan Valley - there are more than a dozen in Kelowna alone. As well, you can enjoy one of our fourteen Kelowna golf courses nine months out of the year. In cooler months, our snow capped mountains, with four premier ski hills a short drive from the city, are a haven for skiers, boarders, and other winter sports enthusiasts.
