Accuro creates direct submission to the Alberta Netcare (Wellnet) so that you get your money faster. The system automatically checks to ensure that the patient health number is valid and that if a referring physician's name is required, you have it in the claim. All these features come together to lower, and even eliminate, your refusal rate. You can also make direct submissions to the Alberta Workers' Compensation Board since Accuro's interface connects with the WCB billing system.
Accuro is able to receive direct electronic lab results from the Capital Health Region and Calgary Lab services.
Since April of 2004, Optimed's Accuro has conformed to the Vendor Conformance and Usability Requirements (VCUR) as a Physician Office System Program (POSP) vendor. Physicians who have been approved funding can purchase Accuro with Level 2 funding. Visit the POSP to find out more information.
